How We Use And Share Collected Information

Processing is lawfully necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

We may collect and share user’s personal information for the following purposes:

– To process appeals
We may use the information users provide about the parking charge notice to allow us to investigate your appeal and to reply to the appeal. Information will only be used to service this request.

– To process POPLA appeal (Parking on Private Land Appeals)
We may use and share the information provided in the initial appeal (as above) to POPLA to allow them to assess your appeal. Information shared with POPLA will only be used to service this request.

– Collection of outstanding parking charge payments
We may share information with our debt recovery agent/appointed solicitors for the collection of unpaid parking charge notices. Information shared may include, name, address, contact number, vehicle registration number, email address, appeal details and correspondence between PTL and the user/motorist/the appointed representative. The debt recovery agent may then request registered keeper details from the Driver Vehicle Licence Agency (DVLA

– Collection of outstanding invoices
We may share information with our debt recovery agent/appointed solicitors for the collection of unpaid invoices. Information shared may include, name, company name, agent name, address, contact number, email address and correspondence between PTL and contact/company.

– To process payments
We may use the information users provide about themselves when paying only to service that request. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

– To send periodic emails
We may use the email address to send them information and updates pertaining to their account/case.

We do not sell, trade, or rent users personal identification information to others.
